Getting Here From the Airport

The major airport in Atlanta is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).

From the Atlanta airport, the most convenient way to get to Midtown Atlanta is by using the city light rail system, MARTA. Simply board a northbound train (Red Line or Gold Line) at Airport Station and exit at Midtown Station. A one-way ticket costs $2.50 (plus $1 for the initial purchase of a fare card) and can be purchased at any MARTA station with cash or a credit card. It’s a five-minute walk (two blocks or 0.2 miles) from Midtown Station (A) to the conference hotel (B):

Alternatively, taxis are available from the airport to Midtown. Typically they will be waiting at airport and there will be no need to reserve one in advance. The flat rate for a one-way trip should be about $32 per person, not including tip.

Getting Between the Hotel and the Conference Venue

The fastest way to get from the Renaissance Hotel to the High Museum of Art is by using MARTA. Simply walk to Midtown Station (shown in the map above). Take any northbound train (Red Line or Gold Line) one stop to Arts Center Station. From Arts Center, walk around the corner to the High Museum. Trains run every 5-7 minutes during rush hours and every 10-20 minutes other times. Each one way trip is $2.50 (plus an initial $1 fee for the purchase of a fare card). Alternately, it is a 1.1 mile (1.7 km) walk between the Renaissance Hotel and the High Museum of Art.
