Workshops

All submissions to C&C 2011 are now closed. Please see Workshops for accepted workshops information.

Chair: Chien-Sing Lee, Multimedia University, Malaysia

New developments often benefit from being presented, discussed, demonstrated, speculated upon, and generally questioned in more informal settings. The workshop portion of the conference provides just such a rich channel for the dynamic exchange of new ideas, creations, and discoveries.

We invite proposals for full-day and half-day workshops focused on specific topics and questions related to the C&C 2011 conference’s broader themes. We are particularly interested in topics likely to bridge the conference’s many communities around the theme of Creativity and Technology.Proposals should be submitted in ACM SIGCHI format (up to four pages), including a 2-page extended abstract, the objectives and expected outcome of the workshop, the planned activities, the background of the organizer(s), the anticipated number of participants, and the means for soliciting and selecting participants.

Please send all workshop proposals to cc2011.workshop@gmail.com with an appropriate subject heading.
