Audrey Olson is a Southern California-based software engineer for Microsoft’s Industry Solutions Engineering (ISE) division and a part-time graduate student in computer science at Georgia Tech, specializing in Interactive Intelligence. She holds a BS in computer science from UC San Diego with a minor in history, and started her career as a consultant, building business software for LA’s media and entertainment scene. On top of an avid enthusiasm for karaoke and travel, Audrey’s interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and human cognition, particularly around the act of building artificial agents and how doing so can hold a mirror to conceptions of our own mental frameworks. Gina Nguyen has earned a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from GA Tech and is presently working towards a Master’s in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning. Gina’s academic journey has sparked a keen interest in the convergence of HCI and AI. Outside of academia, she leads strategy and operations at a public sector consulting company.

Jeanette Luu is a Java software engineer. She is working toward my M.S degree with the College of Computing, Machine Learing. Her research interest includes Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and their applications on lab testing.

Cherie Lum is a current master’s student in Computer Science at Georgia Tech. She pursued undergraduate studies in sociology and business at the University of Vermont. Previously, Cherie worked as an event planner, orchestrating luxury weddings and corporate parties as well as changed careers into being a front-end software engineer. Cherie is passionate about merging her love for technology with her inherent drive to connect people. Cherie contributes to this mission at the AI-ALOE lab, where they strive to enhance online learning for a diverse student population.
