Rahul Dass

Rahul Dass is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Georgia Tech. Currently, he leads the VERA and Ivy teams at DILab and AI-ALOE with research interests in personalized learning and self-explanation. Prior to joining GT, as a U-LINK interdisciplinary fellow with a background in Responsible AI, he obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Miami in 2022. He previously interned at Amazon as an Applied Scientist with the AWS Responsible AI team and volunteered as Lead Data Scientist at a non-profit tackling news disinformation. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and visiting National and State Parks with his family.

Ploy Thajchayapong

Ploy Thajchayapong has her Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University. She worked as a post-doc at Georgia Tech before joining Tech Industry in Data Science field.  After 8 years in a Big 4 consulting firm and an AI start-up, she is now a Research Scientist at AI-ALOE and DILab.
