Stephen Buckley

Stephen Buckley is working on a Master’s in Computer Science at Georgia Tech, concentration in machine learning. Stephen is a Graduate Research Assistant for the VERA project, and his research focuses on personalized learning in inquiry-based modeling. Stephen also achieved his Bachelor’s in Computer Science at Georgia Tech.

Chidimma Anyi is a graduate student in Computer Science at Georgia Tech, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. Chidimma holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. Within the DILab, she works on the SAMI project. Outside of Georgia Tech, she works as a data analyst with a college, and volunteers to tutor K-12 students.
She is interested in the areas of Human-AI interaction and the application of AI in education.

Pratyusha Maiti

Pratyusha Maiti is a research scientist and faculty member working on the Jill Watson project in DILab. Pratyusha holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Georgia Tech. Her research interests lie in the conjunction of Natural Language Processing and Cognitively Inspired AI Design. Outside DILab, Pratyusha loves watching anime, arcade gaming, reading historical fiction, and cafe-hopping.

Sandeep Kakar

Sandeep Kakar is a Research Scientist in the Design & Intelligence lab of the School of Interactive Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interest centers around using artificial intelligence to improve learning outcomes in online education. He holds an MS in Computer Science. His previous education includes a Ph.D. in Physics and an MBA.
