Rigved Tummala

Rigved Tummala is a graduate research assistant and current master’s student at Georgia Tech, specializing in Machine Learning. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rutgers University and has industry experience working as a Full Stack Software Engineer in fintech. Currently, Rigved works in the DILab as a part of the Architecture for Learning (A4L) team. His research interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence and education. In his free time, Rigved loves playing volleyball.

Grace Brazil

Grace Brazil is a masters student in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, on track to graduate in December 2025. Her passion for artificial intelligence and its potential to seamlessly collaborate with humans stems from her background in hardware and software engineering. 

After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Central Florida, Grace started a career in the tech industry. She joined Qualcomm as an Engineer and quickly rose to the position of Senior Engineer, focusing on hardware and software integration and testing within the 5G modem system team.

Grace firmly believes that the future holds immense potential for humans and computers to not only interact but to learn and collaborate effectively through AI models that integrate with human cognitive models. This vision fuels her desire to develop practical solutions that bridge the gap and enhance human-AI collaboration.

Manuel Preston De Miranda

Manuel Preston is a graduate student pursuing his Master’s in Computer Science with a focus on machine learning. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Currently, Manuel serves as a graduate research assistant at DiLab, where he explores the integration of AI into modern applications with online students. With a background in designing and manufacturing optical systems and software for satellites, Manuel combines his technical expertise with innovative research to assist in the advancement of applying AI. 

Darby Hudnall

Darby Hudnall is a graduate research assistant and student at Georgia Tech, specializing in Interactive Intelligence. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering from UNC Asheville. Darby currently works in industry as a software development engineer in test (SDET). In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with FIRST Robotics and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Samuel Taubman

Sam Taubman is an MSCS student at Georgia Tech specializing in Computing Systems. Currently, Sam works in the DILab on the SAMI project under Dr. Goel. Sam holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Appalachian State University and worked on oil seep drone air sampling methods under Dr. Swarthout. Sam’s research interests include utilizing AI for improving learning and applying AI to trading. Pamin Rangsikunpum

Pamin Rangsikunpum is a graduate student in computer science specializing in machine learning, with an interest in natural language processing (NLP), deep learning, and machine learning systems. Jennifer Jordache

Jennifer Jordache is currently a graduate student in computer science at Georgia Tech, specializing in Interactive Intelligence. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and started her career on the trading floor at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, followed by a few years in quantitative finance at an investment firm in Vancouver, Canada where she is based. Jennifer is passionate about applications of technology for social good and is particularly interested in how artificial intelligence can enhance the educational experience. Emily Weigel

At Georgia Tech, Dr. Emily Weigel teaches in the Introductory sequence, Ecology, and Ecology Lab, as well as some upper-level Behavior, Experimental Design, and Statistics courses. Weigel also serves as a teaching mentor to graduate and undergraduate Teaching Assistants of her courses and teaches in TA prep courses. For Biological Sciences, Weigel serves as the Internship Director and International Plan Advisor for undergraduates, and for about one-fifth of our Biology majors, she is also their undergraduate academic advisor.
