Jahnavi is a Research Assistant at DILab and a first-year OMSCS student specializing in AI. Her interest in AI grew out of curiosity about how chatbots work, which led her to self-learn machine learning. From there, she became interested in building impactful AI tools for education, working on personal projects including a personalized storybook generator inspired by her son. She is currently part of the Jill Watson team at DILab.

Outside of research, she enjoys acrylic painting and picked up pickleball last summer.
