Jan Ramos is an M.S. candidate in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Graduate Research Assistant in the Design Intelligence Lab (DILab), where he works on the Jill Watson project. His research focuses on the instructor-deployable version of Jill Watson, focused on enabling university-wide deployment and adoption of the AI-powered virtual teaching assistant.

Professionally, Jan is a Lead Data Scientist, developing machine learning and optimization solutions for pricing strategy, customer modeling, and personalization, alongside internal AI agent development. His work spans predictive modeling, recommender systems, MLOps, and the deployment of production AI systems that support enterprise decision-making.

Outside of work and research, Jan enjoys staying active through weightlifting and kickboxing. He is based out of Miami, FL and is an avid Tottenham Hotspur supporter. GO COYS!
